Bimini offers one of the best opportunities in the world for great hammerhead shark diving. During the winter months January – April, a healthy population of theses elusive sharks congregate around the island’s waters. With numerous species of shark frequenting this area, you have opportunities to see Caribbean Reef Sharks, Nurse Sharks, Bull Sharks, and, of course, Great Hammerheads. Thanks to the foresight of the Bahamas, making all waters surrounding the nations islands a marine sanctuary, we are able to enjoy the benefits of a healthy marine ecosystem.
Besides great hammerhead shark dives, Bimini also offers a variety of other great diving, including several wrecks, and a great location to dive with stingrays.
