Safety is our absolute priority, and Thresher exceeds all standards for safety and medical gear on board. Our team, which includes a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician, is constantly evaluating and updating our gear, making sure everything is in top-working condition should the need arise. We stress knowledge and prevention, so let’s quickly review the safety and medical gear on board.
Thresher is equipped with life jackets, fire extinguishers, and an EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon).

The Life Jackets are located under the bench seating up on the flybridge.

There are fire extinguishers located near both doorways and each marked with placards. One inside the main cabin door, and the other at the forward cabin doorway.

Medical boxes are located in the forward cabin, on the bunk in front of the bathroom.
