epic tiger shark diving expeditions

Join us at Tiger Beach

Peak season (February – June) is a great time to go to Tiger Beach! Not only are there a large number of tiger sharks around, but there are also reef, lemon, and nurse sharks, as well as chances to see bull and great hammerhead sharks too! So, you can see up to 6 species of shark on a single dive! Take a look at this post discussing the diving during peak season. It’s a great time of year to be there!

Tiger Beach is a large area on the Little Bahama Bank and is not a single dive site. Divers can see the sharks on the reef, grass, sandy bottom and sargassum during a multi-day trip. The nice thing about the reefs at Tiger Beach is not only the sharks but the large groupers, rays, turtles and a variety of reef fish. The sharks stay around for long hours, so we get to spend all day in the water with them. All of our encounters get you up close and personal with the sharks. We go over a detailed presentation on how to safely dive with these amazing animals. Here is a video to give you an idea of what it is like:

You can also check out more photos and videos on our social media pages or the Epic Diving YouTube Channel.

Our boat has a full size bathroom and all the comforts needed to spend the day on the water with the sharks. Check out this link for photos of our dive boat.

We are located at our host resort on the West End of the island so that is certainly the easiest and closest option for accommodations as no daily transfers are needed. The boat is located only a few steps from the rooms.
